"Don't Bin It, Fix It!" Repair Events
Most of us, faced with a broken clock or a lamp that no longer works, are tempted to just throw it in the bin and buy a new one. We often don’t have the skills or the tools to “make do and mend”. This is where Zero Carbon Llanidloes’ Repair Events can help.
Don’t Bin It, Fix It! Repair Events take place at the Hanging Gardens, Bethel Street almost every month from 10am – 2pm on a Saturday. To find out when the next one will be, keep an eye open for our posters or look on Llanidloes Community Facebook page.
Volunteers help mend:
- Phones
- Small Mechanicals
- Electricals
- Musical Instruments
- Woodwork
- They also undertake Sewing Repairs and Tool Sharpening
The Repair Events:
- Keep things out of landfill
- Save you money
- Could teach you new skills
- Help conserve the world’s precious resources
If you have a skill and a few hours free, please do come and join our team of wonderful volunteers – we can pay expenses and provide excellent coffee!
